At Greenham demolition site yesterday after the storms on Thursday. Most of the organic debris has been washed away and the tiled flooring remains have been broken up further revealing new possibilities for Greenham Screes project. So excited by this as it has epic as well as macro possibilities.
I remember seeing the Boyle Family's work back in the 80's where they replicated random locations on the earths surface, creating realistic moulded paintings of the chosen locations. Greenham Screes has something of the Boyle Family about it - where are they now?
29th November. Well they're fencing off the whole site now. So I'm left with a couple of years worth of photos and a stack of potential to work with. I was hoping to get back to those acres of tiled flooring after the freeze/thaw of the last week, sadly not to be. But there's a load of work to come out of this.
